Sharon has just finished an antique Victorian iron back and it is absolutely stunning. Sharon was of great advice when we selected our fabrics and her crafts(wo)manship is of the highest standards. She is very passionate about her art and brings old pieces of furniture into the 21st century, whilst being very respectful of the history and origin of the piece. Would highly recommend her services.

Sharon has now worked on and completely transformed three chairs for me. Each one is completed beautifully and so professionally finished.
Sharon is an absolute pleasure to work with, so friendly and helpful, she was able to come up with the perfect fabrics for each piece making choosing a piece of cake.
I would highly recommend and already have another chair to deliver soon!

Sharon is amazing at what she does and is an absolute pleasure to work with, her work is beautiful and the furniture she creates is amazing. Sharon really listens to what you want, makes suggestions, provides a huge range of fabrics and samples and then creates a masterpiece. Thank you so much.

Sharon is brilliant! Really helped me when I rocked up 5months ago with my grandparents chair – it has massive sentimental value to me as my grandma always used to sit in it and when she passed away my grandad cherished it! Now they’ve both passed away I really wanted it to be my feature forever chair in my home. Sharon really helped me pick material, take samples home and didn’t rush/push me into a decision.

I now have it at home and really love it! Thank you

Dealing with Sharon is nothing but a positive experience and I’d have no qualms recommending her skills and talents to anyone who is looking to restore or update a piece of furniture. I was about to arrange for the council to come and pick up my mum and dad’s old chesterfield sofa that had been in the garage for years, to take it to the dump, it was looking that sorry for itself…. but instead I got in touch with Sharon, and hey presto, it’s now in my home with a new lease of life. I love the fact it’s been reupholstered and am enjoying sitting on it with my daughter in the same way I sat on it with my mum many moons ago! Thanks Sharon!

Absolutely fantastic experience. Sharon has a great eye and really helps you picking the right fabric, from her amazing range. The process was hassle free, support in finalising what I wanted, picked up and dropped off the sofa, with everything done to the timeline she set out. Sofa looks amazing. Wonderful experience.

Absolutely devoted to her trade and restores sympathetically. I was over the moon with my piece of furniture and highly recommend Sharon.

It was great to meet Sharon and hear her story about becoming an upholsterer. She reupholstered a dining chair that my Mum had covered 30 years ago. The choice of materials was fantastic and it was very hard to choose. The blue fabric I opted for was fantastically tactile and a had a great sheen. She also mended the chair in a couple of place and made the wood shine. I also got some tips for some some wooden furniture I had at home.
It was a great experience and the chair has pride of place in my new room. I even sit on to sometimes and it’s very comfortable – but mostly I just admire it!

I found Sharon via Facebook and I am so glad I did. I’ve had two old chairs sitting in my mums garage for over 8 years that my dad had given me. Mum kept on asking me what I was going to do with them. One day whilst clearing the garage I decided now was the time. That night whilst scrolling through Facebook I came across Sharon’s page!

Sharon was so helpful with the whole process from helping find the right fabric to giving me a history lesson on my chair. When I collected it I was amazed how beautiful it looked.
Mum passed away last year but she would have loved the chair as much as I do. I am hoping to get the other one done soon. Thank you Sharon for the care and attention you gave my chair.

Just collected my two tub chairs recovered in Plum ‘Bakerloo Line’ fabric. This is a fabulous range of velour patterned material as used on the London Underground with a different design/colour for each line.

Sharon did a fantastic job matching the seams to the contours of these antique chairs and rebuilding the springs and padding that had been abused in the past by small children using them as ‘Trampolines’. So pleased with the result I have another project waiting for her. Many thanks Sharon.

Sharon transformed my Victorian sofa with exceptional skill and craftsmanship. The whole process, from start to finish – fabric samples, advice, fast responses – produced a stunning result! Highly recommended!!

Sharon reupholstered a much loved but rather tired looking chaise longue that I inherited from my parents. She has a great eye for design and helped me choose the fabric – we discussed various options and I ended up opting for a fabulous palm print. I couldn’t be happier with the results which really are faultless.

Sharon has done a beautiful job of the upholstery and even cleaned and oiled the woodwork, breathing new life in to this treasured piece of furniture. I think she provides a great value for money service and I look forward to using her again in the future. Highly recommended!

Sharon has brought my Nana’s beautiful dining chairs back to life for me and I couldn’t be happier with them! I remember them being in Nana’s “best” room, and even as a child I admired them. When I inherited them recently, they had definitely seen better days – rickety legs, not enough padding and some very worn seat covers – but Sharon has returned them to their former glory and I love them even more now! Thanks Sharon.

I found Vintique Upholstery and Sharon through twitter. Having just moved house we desperately needed some new furniture however, rather than the expense of brand new furniture I decided to firstly get in touch with Sharon to see whether it was worthwhile re-upholstering two old chairs (one much loved, the other less so). Sharon came round with her many boxes of sample materials and had a look at the chairs and gave her opinion/quotes. The actual re-upholstering of the two chairs was no more than I would have paid for new ones its simply your choices of fabric that affects the cost.

Sharon took away and did the first chair in record time I was not expecting it back in time for Christmas but it was and we were delighted with the finished product. The second chair is equally stunning and in a more daring and bold fabric but so pleased with the end result. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Vintique Upholstery for a fabulous all round service.

There is a lot to be said about Sharon O’Connor, her incredibly capable hands and taste!!!! She can even be a detective if you ask nicely. When I gave her my brief about finding a Louis type of airmchair, and then upholstering to my taste, she tracked down on e-bay exactly what I wanted within few weeks. We then worked together to decide on fabric, style, colour. She came to our house to see what kind of style we liked. Because I knew roughly what I wanted, Sharon tactfully guided me on the quality of fabric, wearability etc. This is the thing about Sharon – she respects your style, whilst adding her expertise where you need it! The result is this stunning velvety blue armchair – that still “uach” us and our guests…

And then, I had these dark gloss chairs, that really looked a bit like cheap 70ies… Sharon transformed them into these little beauties, with the remaining fabric from the 1st project…
And here you have it… Stylish living room, that we love, that wouldn’t be quite the same without Sharon…
